Usually when I’m tossing and turning at 3 am it’s generally not a good thing. It means something is on my mind.
This time I’m pissed off because I’ve realized that my temporary state of hope around Trump’s election is probably a flight of fancy.
Not because Trump isn’t genuine or doesn’t have good intentions. I think he is and does. But because the machine, the system is never going to allow any type of real, meaningful, substantial change to happen.
Even with the all-star cast of players that Trump has at his disposal to put in his cabinet. It just isn’t going to be enough.
My first sniff of this was when we started getting reports that the Biden administration was very busy “Trump-proofing” everything before inauguration day.
In other words, they are passing laws that will hamstring Trump’s (or anyone else, for that matter) ability to institute changes that affect the day-to-day machinations of the system until the next puppet figurehead is placed in power.
But it’s not just the Biden administration. It’s Congress, it’s the Deep State, it’s the agencies and departments and organizations and corporations - it’s all of it. And they all will be working tirelessly to thwart and sabotage any real change.
Life in D.C. moves on. All of those people who depend on the system, on the Deep State for their livelihoods: the politicians, the media heads, the generals, the department heads, are all going to lie, cheat, steal and do whatever they need to do to make sure that the Trump presidency is just a bump in the road. Again.
But it isn’t the other party that’s to blame. It’s the system that rewards all of them for maintaining the status quo.
Remember, Trump got impeached for pausing payments to Ukraine. Not stopping them, not changing them, just pausing them while his staff reviewed them.
And that’s just one tiny little thing. Do we really think that the system is going to allow itself to be changed in any substantial way?
Sure, Trump can do things that will be helpful to the economy. Things like that actually help the Deep State remain in power.
He may be able to solve the Ukraine conflict. But the damage was done there already. Two hundred billions dollars plus laundered, farmland seized by Black Rock, Western interests irreversibly entwined into their government and economy. They made sure that the important things were done already. A win there for Trump is not a loss column statistic for the Deep State at this point.
Remember, everything can always be leveraged for the Deep State. Even Trump’s substantial win can be leveraged. How so? It restores faith that Democracy works, that your vote counts. It establishes quorum and legitimacy to the system once again.
When the vote became “too big to rig,” then lo and behold! We had the election results that night. Only Nevada and Arizona were undecided by morning, and we didn’t have the same 3 am hijinks we had in 2020.
But not for one second does it guarantee that the will of the people is important and that it will matter in the long term.
And it won’t be because Trump isn’t sincere. I think he is. But there is only so much he, or anyone else can do because the system, the Deep State is irreversibly entrenched in our government.
I know everyone that loves our country is aglow right now that real change is possible, and I hate to be the one to burst that bubble. Yes, some good will come of it. We get a reprieve from that awful administration and the four years we were just subjected to.
But there is only one way that real change is going to happen. And unfortunately, we will never be able to vote our way to it.
We are going to have to take our power back. It isn’t going to be easy, and it isn’t going to be pretty.
It isn’t going to happen by us going along with things. It won’t happen by ignoring it. It won’t happen by us protecting our nut. We’re going to have to do uncomfortable things.
Like REVOLUTION.
It probably won’t happen for a while yet. Too many of us don’t want to create a mess. But there really isn’t any other way.
At some point in the next 25 years or so, this system is toast. Then and only then will the people return to power. It goes hand-in-hand with the Shift in Consciousness.
The Importance of the Individual. That’s the name of the game.
Interesting prospective Phil. I believe that we are well on our way to collapsing the corporate system that is know as DC. There are many layers that we are just not privy to. Trump is not our savior, but he has the ability to instill the "fire" of change by creating a more playing field. The last four years have rattled many cages and we have been shown what we do not want--very clearly. This shift in consciousness is on overdrive--I can feel it in the energy. The old will not last for 25 years. IMO, in the next five years we will create some very significant changes. My travel of the last 2 1/2 years has offered a more detailed glimpse into the heart of humanity and I can say that we are on the way to rolling our sleeves up and getting things done. But first--the spark of a more level playing field must be ignited. This is an amazing time to be alive, to witness the great transition. Thank you for your prospective. Keep shining the light.
